T. B. Lab

In SKS Medical College in SKS International University, we have T.B Lab in a Microbiology Department. It helps our medical students to diagnose, study, and of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacterium that causes TB. This lab is equipped with specialized tools and facilities to handle and identify TB bacteria safely and effectively. Like Basic Infrastructure include work stations, storage, designated sterile area for handling and processing samples to avoid contamination.Major equipments are available in lab such as Microscopes, Incubators, Autoclaves, Centrifuges, Refrigerators and Freezers for storing samples and reagent, Bunsen Burners for sterilization & aseptic techniques. Diagnostic tool include such as Acid-Fast Staining Kits, TB Culture and Sensitivity Testing Kits, Serological and Immunological Assaystools such as ELISA for detecting TB antibodies or antigens &PCR Machines for amplifying and identifying TB DNA in clinical samples. Culture Media& Glass wares such as as petri dishes, slides and coverslip are also available in T.B Lab. Our senior professor providing practical skills and knowledge to our budding doctors, which is needed to diagnose and treat tuberculosis effectively.
