Educational Qualifications:
- 10+2 (Higher Secondary Education): Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as their main subjects in 10+2.
- Minimum Marks:
  - General category candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
  - For SC/ST/OBC category candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required are 40%.
  - For candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks is required.

- Age Limit:
  - The minimum age limit is 17 years as of 31st December of the year of admission.
  - There is no upper age limit for NEET-UG as per the latest regulations.
- Entrance Examination:
  - NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test): Candidates must qualify for the NEET-UG exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
